About Delkwas

As a Master Tax Advisor and instructor for one of the country’s largest tax preparation companies for six years, Deliah (prompted by her clients), founded Delkwas Accounting & Tax Solutions, LLC in 2012.  She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting.  Deliah is a Canadian CPA in current standing. She lived and worked in Canada for over a decade before relocating to the USA  where she has been living and working in the USA since 2003. Deliah is an IRS Enrolled Agent, an IRS ITIN Certified Acceptance Agent, and a Licensed Tax Consultant with the state of Oregon.  She represents clients before tax authorities on tax matters.   As an experienced accountant, Deliah has experience in cleaning up accounting systems and in hands-on management of  accounting departments. Deliah’s international tax and accounting experience is a unique advantage for Delkwas. She has clients in the USA, Canada and other parts of the globe. Deliah is hardworking and dedicated.

Deliah has worked at various levels in the accounting field from junior accountant to controller both in the private and public sectors.   For her master’s dissertation on “Financial Statement Misrepresentation:  Could Investors Detect It?”, Deliah developed an innovative model and robustly argued that investor’s could detect fraudulent financial statements if they do their home work.
